Report:

We all met at the Glenbrook information centre and left 10am sharp and made our way to Lawson.

Cars parked, slip slop slap, hats on heads, water supplies in back packs and toddled off onto the walking tracks on a picture perfect warm spring day.

We saw lots of bush, more bush, negotiated a lot of man made steps, small bridges, saw more bush, the beautiful Cataract Falls, Federal Falls and some other falls, saw more bush, more steps, climbing up, climbing down, more steps and more bush.

After a fantastic walk we eventually returned to the car park and the more mature club members did brilliantly completing the walk.

After warming down and pushing hearts back into rib cages and turning the oxygen bottles off, we then met Col and Renate for lunch at the newly refurbished Lawson Pub.

After a nice meal and lots of laughs, the loud and noisy Rare Breed mob left the pub around 3-ish, I think the pub regulars where applauding when we walked out.

Thanks to Michelle & Bert for a great day out, I think the bush walking day trips may become a regular item on the Rare Breed trip calendar.
