Christmas Party 2011

Greenmans Valley - Mt White

3rd & 4th December 2011

Attendees: Club Members

It was a fantastic weekend of laughter, great company, sunshine and a great camping area for all members to camp in their tents, camper trailers, swags and caravans at Greenmans Valley Caravan Park.

Some members were lucky enough to camp one or two days before the weekend and we were surely blessed with the weather and a lovely large grassy area to relax in and to top if all off a camp fire was permitted.

There were lots to keep members occupied with fishing, water skiing, water pistol fights, park walks, eating and drinking.

Santa visited on the back of Birdy's decorated Christmas table top where he was greeted with children and adults fighting for sweeties. There were many happy faces on children after Santa's visit which proves Santa was very successful in his delivery of goodies.

Saturday night Christmas feast was a huge success with a wide selection at the buffet to choose from including dessert, it is a real credit to all members for the fantastic meal. Although we had a couple of gate crashers very late into the night around the camp fire, they too had a great time although we had to remind them the following day.

Birdy's boat managed not to sink despite the bung being forgotten a few times. Although he tried extremely hard, Matthew was unable to catch that huge brim but great try anyway Matthew. Mick (Redgrave) did catch a few eatable fish which went straight onto the barbie and reported were very tasty.

I think I can safely report that everyone had a great time, not too far from home and once again the Rare Breed Club showed that we know how to party.
