Shootout at the (Hubertus) OK corral
A shootout occurred at 9.00am EST at the Hubertus OK Corral Saturday Feb 19th 2011 involving members of the Hubertus Gun Club & members of the Rare Breed 4wd Club.
It is unclear which side started the shootout and it is also unclear which side won, but the boys all had a great time anyway, and no one was injured in the shootout.
Kevin Potts was responsible for the incident and he appeared to show no remorse for his villainous deeds, in fact he appeared to thoroughly enjoy what he had started.
Upon interviewing the participants on both sides the reporter discovered that all participants in fact enjoyed their involvement in this heinous deed.
During the course of gun play a wedding was taking place on the grounds of the club & the gunmen were asked to cease fire for the duration of that event.
This request was adhered to, as the wedding was attended by a motorcycle club and it was thought that the gunfire noise would make some guests a little jumpy and the gunmen on both sides did not want THAT to happen!!!!!.
It was admitted by the gun club that the 4wd club members did not embarrass themselves at all and in fact put up a good account of themselves, the Rare Breed boys went home proud of their achievements.
Thanks to the Hubertus Gun Club & especially Kevin Potts for a really fun & safe morning, thankfully not mourning.
The shooters on the Rare Breed side:
Kevin (hawkeye) Potts
Peter (9 toes) Tidyman
Bert (what target) Bolding
Ray (hotshot) Conway
Colin (sorry bout that) Pryor
