Everyone met up at the designated meeting place on time and headed off to Lavis lane service station to buy beach permits and air down. Once at the Lavis Lane entrance it was an easy trip onto the beach. I have never seen the sand so hard nor had no troubles getting onto the the beach via Lavis Lane.
On the beach a great time was had by all. There were a few momentary standstills but everyone got out of their situations without requiring snatching (again this was due to the sand being so hard due to recent rain). It was great conditions for the first timers in the group to get some practice sand driving.
The people who had the most fun on the day were the children (and the big children) with the sand slides. We managed to find a couple of really good dunes and the damp sand made it ideal for sand sliding.
After a long day of playing we headed out at Anna Bay to air up and we all went our separate way home. Thankyou to all who came for a very enjoyable day.
